The Toronto Raptors extended their winning streak to four games on Monday night with a 123-113 victory over the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena.
The Raptors led by just six points entering the fourth quarter but pulled away late to earn the win and improve to 27-30. Fred VanVleet led the way for Toronto with 33 points, continuing his recent hot streak.
Pascal Siakam added 28 points and 10 rebounds and Scottie Barnes finished with 27 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Kristaps Porzingis led the Wizards with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Bradley Beal added 19 points.
The Raptors led by as many as 18 points in the second half but the Wizards rallied to cut the lead to six points entering the fourth quarter. However, Toronto opened the fourth quarter on a 9-2 run to take command of the game and never looked back.
The Wizards have now lost four straight games and have fallen under the .500 mark in 24-29.
