Alexander Zverev was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1997. His parents, Irina and Alexander Sr., were both professional tennis players. Zverev began playing tennis at the age of three and quickly showed a natural talent for the sport. At the age of 15, Zverev won the junior singles title at the Australian Open. He turned professional the following year and quickly rose through the ranks.
