Benzema, Valverde and Rodrygo Score Goals in Thrilling Match

Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 4-1 in El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday night. Goals from Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde, Rodrygo and Ferran Torres ensured that Real Madrid moved to the top of La Liga after overcoming their bitter rivals.
Barcelona had the lead in the first half after a goal from Torres. However, Real Madrid turned the game around in the second half with goals from Benzema, Valverde and Rodrygo. Benzema's goal came in the 52nd minute when he received the ball in the box and fired it past Marc-André ter Stegen. Valverde doubled Real Madrid's lead 10 minutes later by squeezing the ball home after a scramble. Rodrygo made it 4-1 from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.
The win takes Real Madrid two points above Barcelona at the top of La Liga table. It was a thrilling match that was decided in the end by some clinical finishing from Real Madrid. Real Madrid will have a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table when they face Espanyol next week, while Barcelona will take on Valencia.
